most of you would have already received the invitation... i'm celebrating my 21st birthday this Saturday! it was a tough call deciding who to invite and all... and considering how September is such a baby-making month... everyone's celebrating this weekend... for example sw from JC council... so i didnt extend the invitation to the SC... lest i put them in a difficult position... so people gracing this humble event are from the following major groups... - Immediate Family... - TKG Basketballers - PA Windsurfers - AJC 0102 - NUS Windsurfers - NUS Engin - USP/YEP gang - MISC (although it sounds lowly, i still love you all!!!)  for those taking the good ole' MRT/bus... there is a shuttle service from Pasir Ris MRT... the pick-up point is the taxi stand facing the main road (near McDonald's)... since the "party" is supposed to start at 730pm... the best timing to take is 715pm... but the following is a list of timings for the ease of people coming at ungodly hours... including those sweet people who offered to come early and...(help? they didnt specify...) 315pm 415pm 545pm 645pm 715pm 815pm 915pm 10pm  photo from www.aloha.gov.sg another option is to take the SBS bus to Downtown East and walk... but it's freaking far... good thing is... my sweet daddy offered to help me pick up people... so just give me a call... and i'll dispatch him... Pick-up point will be the round-a-bout at the MRT Entrance... Silver Nissan Sunny... look for the handsom-est driver around...  i must put up a disclaimer though... the food is probably far from fantastic... but i am trying my best to put together the best combination as possible... buffet spread, BBQ and homecooked stuff... my sis and i will probably be coming up with more dessert-like food to add on to the caterer's... i even got a BBQ chef... my little brother who happens to love experimenting with food... his sambal fried rice gave me a tummy-ache... but it was totally yummy... who will grill your food for you on the spot...  for those people who can't make it for the dinner itself... do drop by for the cake... probably 9pm+++... setting a time so that it's slightly easier for everyone... i dun really know how it tastes... but anything with Valrhona chocolate will probably taste divine... to top it off... the cake's striped too! hope to see you guys there this Saturday... remember to wear something stripey! ----Stef stopped rambling at 13:27 --Link to Post |
