visited my nanny today... with my brother... made a call prior... but her husband said she wasnt in... made our way there anyway... when we arrived... no one was at home... but we thought we heard her voice at her neighbour's... wahhaha she was locked out... so funny... went over and sat awhile.. till her husband came back... talked abit.... waited for the little boy to come also... then went out to eat for dinner... same thing... fought for the bill... and lost to her... she just insists on paying for everything... think that she was happy that we popped by... kept telling me that i should have told her that we were coming earlier... so that she can steam herbal soups for us... i totally love her soups... but didnt want to trouble her... so had to pop the surprise... we just owe her so freaking much... spent so much of our childhood with her... owe my (lack of a) figure to her... fed us so well... she's just so great... so selfless... really look up to her as a woman who can handle anything thrown in her path... been through a lot throughout the years.... amazing how she can come out of it all... and look as if nuthing ever hit her... remain a person every one looks for in times of need... really like the Mdm Tan in My Sassy Neighbour... the way how everyone just goes to her for help... admiration. ----Stef stopped rambling at 02:07 --Link to Post |
