the last couple of days saw us at the windsurfing freshmen camp... although it wasnt too many of them... it wasnt too bad really... 16 because we have limited equipment... and no second camp coz of the multiple-of-6 constraints... but i had a whale of time... until my brain starting failing me on Day2 with a lack of sleep... calls, forms, tees, briefings, salt-water swimming/drowning, hours of hot sun, teaching, money... was abit too much to handle on 1 hr worth of sleep... insomnia is bad on days like these... grumpiness kicked in just before we broke camp... many apologies to everyone... and we werent having a agreement, kelvin...  camp participants... and our people, of course...  girls huddled ard the fire to keep it from blowing out... it was really funny... but it works!  the little houses... this was the foundation to a really good fire... proud project of the guys... it was practically roaring with fires by the time it was done... the next pic doesnt exactly capture it...  the super-hot fire... who needs the Human Torch?  the fire was ready... but the food weren't here... so we only had marshmellows to eat... but i heard some guys saying they wont mind doing this all day if they had a truckload of it... marshmellow madness!  BBQing madness... yummy yummy yummy, i've got love in my tummy...  the award-winning chicken wing that i 'stole' from the freshies... was pretty good i tell you... wahhaha...  the hardworking BBQers - Part 1... a recognition of the people who sacrificed oil-free faces to give us a wonderful dinner...  the hardworking BBQers - Part 2... (though i was trying to keep Ben out of it... 'cause he was pretending to be hardworking...)  oh well... i gave up... the hardworking BBQers - Part 2...  resorting to zong ji mi ma to finish the food... was ultra effective... finished them in no time... following are some of the people who were helped finish the delectable feast...  1. Mr i've-got-a-burnt-chicky-wing... Kelvin Kek!  2. Mr Look Ma!-i'm-as-tanned-as-my-chicky-wing... Weiming...  3. Mr plz-dont-make-me-eat-this... Yaodong...  4. Miss finger-lickin'-good.... Pam...  5. Mr chicken-wing-down-the-throat-trick... Dominic...  infectious zong ji mi ma... 3-in-1! Ben, Winnie and Paul...  we're not exactly glad to eat these... Liangwei, Yinghao and Renhao...  Lu and our prized hamper... POSER!  break camp...the group photo... everyone's squinting like mad... it was like the 101th photo... but i had to have my share of it...  the supposed candid shot... i wonder what was xy trying to do to my head... all in all... it was a good camp... not much time to interact with everyone... but our objective was met... we now have 16 more windsurfing newbies... hope that they'll dig the sport as much as we do! ----Stef stopped rambling at 14:27 --Link to Post |
