work today has been FAN-tastic!
well... try starting your day with a cute caucasian male model greeting you at the door... and saying "morning! i'm the new welcome guy!"... was recovering from shock... but it didnt stop me from drooling a huge puddle on the floor... he was utterly friendly too... coz he was borrowing the office's phone which was at my workstation... and calculator to calculate the amt he was earning with upcoming shoots... played with my phone awhile... hallo buddy! i'm trying to work here... but do i look like i mind? of coz not! have been late for work of late... stepping in only at abt 9.20... including the stopover at the hawker centre to takeaway by caffein fix... actually am this late coz i've been trying to be in the same bus as this guy i see every morning... heh... no lah... it's more of deciding what to wear... tough when pple ard you all look so good... "hmm...i'll look fat in this... eeks! i should be losing weight! gawd! that tummy!" i'll probably throw up my hands in resignation... then pull out a tank top or t-shirt to wear with some denim... but back to THAT guy.. yeah man... i think 3 days in a row same bus liaoz... met his eyes when he was alighting... he must be thinking "what a psycho!"... man... "for you, i can be..." - Puss-in-Boots *smittened* day today was super busy... everyone in the studio were... lotsa pple in... the clients... the ad pple... manicurist... models... i was kept super busy... din even step out for lunch... olivier got me BK chicky whopper jr... was rushing out quotations in record time... big job... can see why the rush... was trying to arrange for a casting tmr... between clients/ad agency/talents/us... super tough... if you think organising class gatherings were hell... this is the 18th level... full-time jobs... jet-setting pple... busy schedules... "i want to see everyone..." "where the hell is that?" it's the first major meeting organised by yours truly... olivier is busy with shoot... so that leaves me... chian's being casted... and the clients... *prays for shun4 shun4 li4 li4* shoot today went fine... are going to return the garter and bowtie i bought... apparently it doesnt complete the shot... but they complimented my choice of strawberries... ribbon colours for confetti... and olivier said the chocs look good... he liked the handkerchief too... phew... at least i dont feel so terrible... seen some of the shots already... they look pretty good... feel good that i actually have a hand in it... talk abt job satisfaction! email was screwing up today... tried all sorts of means to get attachments i need out, out... damn! it's tough being a techno-idiot... i know nuts abt trouble-shooting and the likes... i probably sound like a idiot to the person at the helpdesk as well... but she din help me very much either... chian was busy with the props and lighting... so oh well... i was left to fend for myself! din do it very well... but i survived! *breaks into song* destiny's child_-_Survivor tough clients are a challenge... but when you do accomplish what impossibility they asked of you... the sense of satisfaction is indescribable... called like countless pple today.. spoke to agents/clients/models/talents... some of them are so ultra nice it just feels so good talking to them... i had a good day at work today... =)lets hope i wont be late again tomorrow... ----Stef stopped rambling at 22:04 --Link to Post |
