super long day...
morning was relatively uneventful... dealing with the aftermath of days of consecutive shoots... bumped into vince while getting coffee on my way to work... not too sure abt his name... let's call him vince for now... he's quite easy to talk to really... quite funny and interesting... turns out that he knows lili... which supports my small world theory once again... tagged along when he went out to buy lunch this afternoon... went golden mile... bought my pat thai... and the little ang ku kueh like thingys... lala.... and i taught him thai! only that pat thai means thai noddles... =P new record time for quotation preparation... dunnoe why this particular client alwaz gives deadlines when he needs estimates... oh well... client give deadline means i die... oh well... rush rush... adobe pdf thingy kept giving me prbs... my email is screwing everything up... end up having to do the primitive thing of printing stuff and passing them to olivier... and faxing estimates over... took a whiff of the mangoes they used for the shoot on tues... wahh... smell super good la! wanted to eat it... but me reminds myself that they painted all sorts of things on it... *me put mangoes down slowly... =( had to courier a mango to a client... weird? i think so too... wondered if the courier would take a peak and eat the mango instead... i din warn him that the mangoes wore make-up... casting today at another client's office... with the talents and the client's client... chian left after the casting... so only me as rep of my co... kinda scary... when u sit at big table with 5 people you dont know really well... demanding more choices... pressuring you... casting din go down too well... they found that the pple that they shortlisted werent wat they were looking for... oh well... i might have to go on the streets tomorrow... casting strangers... wonder how pple would take to that... pple help... good-looking male, early 30s, rugged but cool, look like business man... think adam king? good-looking female, my age, funky/sexy/shoulderlength hair or longer... think samsung e700a advert... but at least i was here when this whole job started.. so at least i can participate actively during the meeting... din say much also la... stylist liased directly with art director... me trying to assure the client everything was going to be alrite.. she looked as if she gonna get heart attack... went for jog... couldnt survive one round... besides... got demoralised when this guy overtook me... =P haiz... need to train up... lose weight... ahhhh! ----Stef stopped rambling at 22:33 --Link to Post |
