finally caught eternal sunshine of a spotless mind!
woohoo! think it's really cool... a little tough to follow... but if you use kate winslet's hair colour as a timeline... you'll do pretty well... it's an interesting concept... very very thought-provoking... might catch it again... but the cinematography was novel... think: butterfly effect... liked the movie... probably one of the few times you get to see jim carrey in a serious movie... there were some funnie moments... but his performance was good... go catch it... not many theatres show it... met lunnie for lunch and the movie... weird huh? just that both of us really wanted to watch that movie... he was enlisting soon... and i happened to ask him out... lunch at long john silver's was good... had my favourite fish... yummy! met yollie, jess, shermeen and cherysa along the way... so glad to have bumped into them... coz jess was back in town... from the US... and i was dying to meet up with her... oni downside was when shermeen asked me, "how long already?"... piangz... NONO!!! *waves hands frantically in the air* lunnie was fun to go out with... oni prb was... we had serious problems trying to hear each other... dunnoe whether i speak too softly or what... but oh well... maybe its coz i mumble too much... came home early... dinner at home... save-money mentality.. yunnboon called me twice today... to cancel and reschedule our jog together... in that order... happened that the course he was supposed to have tonight was rescheduled to tmr... so we met to jog together... poor him have to pace according to my speed... which was freaking slow lah! the two rounds took us 16+ mins... but considering we were talking/laughing/joking along the way... it was not bad already... he did one more round alone... could see that he finished it much faster... good workout man! at least i couldnt afford to give up halfway with him ard... but cant do this much in the future... guy is staying in camp next month onwards... =( eternal sunshine was good... wonder if it will ever be possible to erase memories like dat... selectively... is it encouraged? isnt that running away? it's simply a chain reaction... he erased me off his memory... now i must erase him off mine... and while i'm here... might as well erase ***... then *** will have to erase me too... is it fair to the one erased? will the person going through the procedure be truly happy? or is it the kinda airy happiness where joy is present oni becoz of the lack of sorrow? the eternal sunshine of a spotless mind indeed... the quote from kristen durst was superb... i couldnt catch it in its entirety... will try find it... elijah wood and durst didnt play huge roles... kinda surprising... considering the major impact Wood had in LOTR... probably one of the few movies which crying scenes really hit me... few that you can truly feel their pain... ----Stef stopped rambling at 22:53 --Link to Post |
