family finally back liaoz...
been 5 days... kinda miss them... but it was fine la... slept on parents' bed for 4 nites... but it passed kinda quickly... think coz i was busy with work... din go out and siao with frenz alot... coz no daddy chauffeur... oni monday at nanny's place... and chronicles of riddick with yb... the rest was spent sleeping or watching the OC and CSI... sis came back with braids... no present for me... so sad... obviously... they had so much fun they forgot abt me... to think i offered to pay for their holiday... oh well... hehhe... but still... am glad they are finally back... was supposed to leave work early today... so that i could head down to NUS with lala to settle our hostel stuff... but was so busy i really couldnt... told her next week... but lala... got a major casting from 5 to 7 on Monday... i know i promised to quit if he doesnt let me off... but i think i wanna stay in to gawk at cute guys too... we can go late morning early afternoon? that'll be great... first thing in the morning got mail from client... have to cast more pple... get quotations from modelling agencies... send pictures... do estimates for another job... update job costings... deliver a ring to a jeweller... almost puked when i saw the price tag... at least 30 times the cost of my phone... go figure. was shaking like a leaf having it in my bag... did alot of calling... am glad that i'm finally sounding more confident on the phone... coz at least i know what i am talking abt now... email giving us prbs... was spending super alot of time talking to the guy at the helpdesk... hosting our mail server... piangz... like one duck, one chicken... gave up... and threw the prb to the guys... vincent, olivier and chian... i really buay ta han liaoz... guys huddled ard the PCs... running from one PC to another... "hey did you get test mail 1?!??!?" "no!??!?!" "$@%#^^$%^#%$^$%!!!" they gave up too... chian concluded some guy in the building was d/l-ing porn videos... thus the horrible connection... was utterly horrible for the co. though... felt very unprofessional when i had to call my client and tell her i'm having prbs with my mail... sending them mails with my personal email... trespassing into other co.'s FTP to upload stuff... oh well... two shoots today... one for jeweller... and another for a angmoh boss and his wines... was running ard the office like siao... phones ringing... now i dont really give a damn when i have to scream for olivier across the whole office... no more... walk over to the main hall... and "olivier, i need you to check this for me/blah blah called/should we call Blah blah?..." ate in... vince went out to buy... ive got fried rice today.. it was yummy... the really dry type that i really like... so in case i forget... i owe chian - 70 c for kopi... olivier - 4.30 for chicky whopper jr... vince - 3 bucks for fried rice... lets pretend i dunnoe... casted one pan-asian guy today... came ard 6... had to stay in for him... olivier was out shopping for props... vince and chian at rooftop shooting... took some pix... chian came back... kinda warned the guy being casted that i got reputation for taking horrible pictures... and making good looking pple look horrible... guy was nice enough to come to my defence... saying tat all i had to do was press the shutter... it's the models responsibility to look good... hah... coz chian was complaining i made him look terrible in the photos yesterdae... oh well... there's a reason why i'm not the photographer... i do think he looks really good leh... esp in his starhub ad... been speaking to a lot of really nice pple of late... like i was complaining to one agent that i was being driven nuts... and she told me abt another horrible client... well... people who would go out of their way to help you... and sound really happy when you talk to them... for that i'm glad... i'm learning loads abt the industry... gaining good exposure and experience... it's not THAT bad afterall... ----Stef stopped rambling at 21:32 --Link to Post |
