sunday...
went down to beach... spent like two whole hours sanding down my skeg... its quite horrendous now... but think using mistral boards... where you have to do your own repairs... maintainance... and all the crap... you kinda get better at technical stuff like these... learnt to use the vice clamp... the bluffing machine at uncle george's shed... epoxy... adredith... its cool... wind was ultra strong today... and andrew made us do starts... its the hardest thing to do in strong winds lor... staying stationary... contary to usual situations... in windsurfing.... staying still IS the hardest thing to do... kept falling into the water... and uphauling... till my hands really scrapped... and arms really cramp... saw lotsa kite surfers... damn cool... one guy was practically lifted off the waters... one day should learn... but actually cannot do at ECP... coz of low flying air craft... so the police coast guard boat was in front of the club... trying to stop these surfers... who were in fact... too fast for them... andrew's really strict today... he really drive past my board and scold scold scold one lor... i was really scared of the speed today... first time ever... was so fast i could jump... or at least i thot i did... felt the board lift... oni to catapult into the water... kinda sucked though... uphauled alot alot of times... grr... left early... coz needed to come back home and prepare for orientation tmr... big thing... kinda sad though... orientation 2 is really one big boring thing... everything council wanted for the JC1s... sch did not want... haiz... no finale nite... no water... no this... no that... but nevertheless... orientation is wat you make it out to be... well... so i guess i'm just going to go out there and have one hell of a time... =) printer's screwing up... cant print the stuff i need... maybe will reboot later and do some printing... but for now... gtg... and do my chem test... wish me best.. i never studied for it... ----Stef stopped rambling at 22:33 --Link to Post |
