hehe...
during debrief today... andrew received a long distance call from london... sailor Tan Wearn How... piangz... andrew was telling us how good he was... sea games gold... asian games bronze... o levels 9 A1s... a levels straight As... now in london studying aeronautical engineering... so lihai... met him a few times before... exchanged few words oni... and he used my ex-equipment before... piangz... he's damn strong.. and damn good at sailing... he's kinda nice too... very smiley... and polite... like the SNAG kind... woohoo! i think he's the most lihai person that i've ever known... training today was cool... the pulley system worked damn well... just a gentle tug.. and the whole sail was tensioned... woohoo! much easier than before... andrew's the best man... dunnoe what to say... 5 airblocks and 2 sheaves on the outhaul... two v-jams and two airblocks on the downhaul... the wonders of physics.. the pulley system is really damn powerful.. its like when i first started using harness... asked myself.. why din i use this earlier? was late for morning training... but still... managed to sail abit... afternoon training was alot on starts... haiz... right in front of the club the wind damn shifty and gusty... piangz... kept falling and not making the start... quite sad... but bo pian... i tried... so paiseh... so lousy in front of the people there... but still i think it was a useful drill.. kinda regained my memory abt short tacks and wide tacks... and how they should be used... and how to harness the wind... without moving over the start line... kinda important during starts ya? =) andrew damn farnie today... made us laugh alot... but he's really understanding... he was like scold scold scold the guys for being lazy... wanting to sleep more and not coming early on sun... then turned and say... stef is our busy girl... so cannot blame... hehhe... and he will dear here darling there to all of us... hahha... when you see a grown man doing that... it may seem repulsive.. but andrew's cute.. really... ----Stef stopped rambling at 22:32 --Link to Post |
