was watching the amazing race...
the pitstop was mt faber...
they were at the point where we were...
overlooking the city...
same point...
different times...
different medium...
kinda sad...
coz made me think of that time...

it was nite...
really pretty...
coz though mt faber wasnt much of a mountain...
you could still get a good view of the city...
with its bright lights...
looking like diamonds shimmering across the dark blotch...
it was our second 'date'...
not much of a date...
just two frenz going out...
nice food i tapow-ed after WS training at ECP...
he said it was a surprise...
then drove all the way along the ECP to mt faber...
sat there...
ate satay...
drank cheng teng...
and satay beehoon...
it was farnie...
coz we couldnt open the satay sauce...
he poked his carkeys into it...
and it all bleh-ed out...
we ate...
we talked...

dad called...
i lied abt where i was...
dad found out...
started screaming...
things came to an abrupt stop...
he understood...
started the car...
to drive me home...
got worried abt wad my parents gonna do to me...
asked permission to cross my legs on his prized leather seats...
i couldnt sit still...
he realised...
we had kenny G playing...
we drove ard...
ard serangoon gardens...to where he lived...
ard town area...
everywhere...
but i had to face home...
it was terrible gaining courage to face wad i had to face at home...
but like he said...
i had to...
and so we lost it...
contact for good...

i kinda miss the stupid things we did together...
it was crappy times...
but i really think the crappy times are the most fulfilling...
many of us are too caught up in the technical part of life...
we forget abt others ard us...
and pure basic fun...
instead, now, we pay money to be entertained...
wad abt sitting on the swing with ur very best fren??
too passive?
thats the present for you...
ever moving...
ever changing...
wad will the future hold then?
things beyond wat we will ever fathom?
guess so...
embrace the future, let go of the past...
can anyone actually do that?
