today was pretty cool...
went to beach at ard 2... supposedly to rig up the new equipment.. but andrew was late... so we'll do it tomorrow... actually he's quite nice... coming down on his own accord to help us... =) heard from mr tan that he's paid less than 60 bucks to train us... feel quite bad... coz at the end of the training stint... he treated us to satay... yummy... and we just ate and ate... new equipment is quite cool... sail is orange and yellow... dont really like the colour... but think its not bad lah... you know the picture on sunday headlines? pix of andrew surfing??? ya... that sail... the new stuff looks really new... got this bu she de yong feeling.. esp when you din buy it yourself... i really scared i spoil it... =P but kinda happy.... that i'll be getting a new set... courtesy of salvatore... today took gerald's car to suntec to eat... met with his ntu-nus pple... dont really know them.... but WQ like so shou with them... so it was kinda weird... so i stuck myself with sam and sk... but hated the feeling... as if we're tagging along with them... but feel quite amused how WQ does it... coz i could never pull anything like that off... sam walked me to the MRT... actually wanted to take 10 with him... but he said it would take quite long to reach tampines... so he walked with me from suntec to the MRT... hate suntec for that reason... its kinda far from the MRT... talked to him alot along the way... feel that i could better relate to him than before... kena static by him alot of times... he say coz air at citylink very dry... maybe... coz we got static-ed like 6-7 times... first time was on his forehead... checking his fever... he was nursing a bad flu... supposedly caught when he watched the 2330 LOTR the nite before... we talked abt how we wasted one year of training... the equipment was taken away from us... and none of us could train on the mistral one design... those who went down played with the shortboards... and stuff... but these werent wat we are training for... oh well... hopefully these 2 weeks are enough to make up for that... i know we cant beat the HKG sailors... nor the thai sailors... but one thing for sure is that i wont give up... unless it blows a force 7... that no matter wat... i wont be able to handle... ----Stef stopped rambling at 23:22 --Link to Post |
