Windsurfing Training for Singapore Open’03 Training starts at NSC @ 0830hrs everyday and ends @ 1800hr unless advised. LT (Land Training) - Morning Lower Body – Running Upper Body – Sit ups Squats Back arches Hops / Jumps Arm hangs Duckwalk Pull ups Leg lifts WT (Water Training) – Morning and afternoon Distance Sailing Speed Sailing Tacking / Gybing drills Pumping Mark rounding Upwing / Downwind Forced planning Starts / Lining up 720 degrees penalty turns Emergency stop & Reverse Board Railing Course Racing – triangle, sausage, trepeziod, figure eight Mast extension adjustments Boom extension adjustments Classroom – Briefing and discussions Sail tunning Pointing height Harness lines Mast foot pressure Foot pressure Footstraps usage Daggerboard limits Upwind stance Downwind stance Pulley system installation Mast marking Please note that before every training commences, there will be a stretching routine. Likewise when training ends.
