edwin from the national sailing centre spoke to us today...
about donning national colours... and training under them... that they'll try to train us for the international races... so it means national team... if we could make the mark... but they asked for commitment... like 4 times a week... which was quite impossible... even if i would willingly burn my weekends... i cant take out two days from sch... harlow... i end sch at 5.... by the time i reach ECP... the sky dark liaoz... in addition... joining NSC would mean leaving mr tan... and all our seniors at the club... that aint good... must ying shui si yuan... but not joining NSC means that no matter how hard i train... i will not don national colours... or enter the national team... unless i'm as good as andrew... its a chance of a lifetime... but i really dunnoe what to do... both directions has its pros and cons... but thing is i really cant commit... on the other hand... there's no point training so hard when i'm not aiming for national colours... there's a freaking load of politics in sailing... and many dont know that... why cant BSAS get along with SSF... then i wont have this dilemma... coz it really sux... ----Stef stopped rambling at 22:04 --Link to Post |
