second day of school...
but i reckon its been great as well... met my second klass... and the guys in the klass are very outspoken... inquisitive and very responsive... girls are a little quiet... oh well... we'll get them talking... 3 of us had morning chocolate cake party in the pantry... woohoo! coffee bean's tiramisu.... choc and caramel... and thousand leaf choc or something... damn yummy! teachers came in and gave us the look of disgust... muahhaa... sinful... but ultra yummy... slacked most of the day alway... but sat in for mr sung's lesson... really learnt alot from him... its really different sitting in a klass as a student and as an observing teacher... coz things you look out for are totally different... it was good... i guess that is the distinction between trained and untrained teachers... slacked all the way till 5... doing next to nuthing... till i resorted to doing the tutorials from scratch... esp the calculation ones... so that i get myself back into the rhythm... and prep myself for questions they might have for me... woohoo! food in the canteen really sucks though... miss AJ's food... too little stalls and too little variety... oh well... cant help it... helped a geography teacher find toilet paper today... poor guy din sleep the night before... rumaging through the whole pantry..... looking pretty pissed... saw a roll opposite the toilets actually... did i mention those were unisex? so led him to it... i think he was one of those who din really like us... the pantry stakers... but we really had nuthing to do... and pantry has newspapers to read... coffee and tea to drink... best of all... the wonderful couch... met alot of teachers today... probably met most of the relief teachers already... got introduced to a number of perm teachers... the ultra funny mr cia... who sat with his back facing us while having his spicy lunch... saying we should not see the horrendous sight of him dripping in sweat or otherwise... spoke alot to mdm fong... who showed me a photo of her 19mth old son... talk about the subjects we taught.. and made me feel really at home... mr teo... bball teacher i/c... ultra good looking and eloquent... or so i thought... will be taking more klasses next week... coz level head going for course... so taking over her klasses... think it would be quite a challenge... hope i'll do fine with it... played bball with the teachers and the students today... a 3 on 3 with my juniors from TK and mr sung... before playing a teacher-student game... with stella ng, mr sung, mr teo and me on one team... and some boys who i dont recognise... teachers won the game... think we did pretty well really... coz the teachers were tall... and all of them were pretty good... except me... who seldom played such intense games... back in AJ... council guys would probably just pave routes for me to run... pass me the ball or what... but today was phew... run here run there... i lost a few balls... throws of mine being intercepted by the boys... was dripping wet by the end of the game... but din care la... went home in my PT kit... took 89 and walked home... walked by cleverway... saw patrick and mr koh's mom... talked awhile to them... i think they also found it weird that i tell them i was coming from work... when i was dripping wet in prespiration and carrying a hangbag... super weird... but oh well... am kinda limping now... left ankle gave way again... wondering why... coz i did make the effort to bring and wear my ankle guard... die if i'm wearing heels tomorrow... i foresee myself tumbling down the stairs... physio appt on the 16th... which is a friday... hope my ankle heals by then and that i dont have klasses on the late friday... was reading newsweek... forum... one letter about The Passion of Christ... had a spanish quote... which roughly translate to "An ill made Christ needs lots of blood..." refering to statues made in honour of our Saviour... which is quite relevant to the movie... i guess different pple will react differently to the movie... personally... i thought the shock factor... the amount of blood and gore was a little too much for the stomach... i have never been as traumatised by a movie as the one yesterdae... was kinda wondering whether would i be better off being denied of the movie if it was rated R21... ----Stef stopped rambling at 20:40 --Link to Post |
